Words have long provided me with comfort, solace, direction & inspiration. Over the years, I have become a consummate collector of quotes which I share with others whenever possible. In recent years, I have been gifted with “Words of Assurance” directly from the Divine. Sometimes these are funny, sometimes achingly tender, sometimes a gentle nudge – but they are always what I need at the time.

“My heart has been buried under layers and layers of armor for years. First to go was the full-body protection of a rusted steel suit, impenetrable but also stifling. Then I discovered the heavily padlocked concrete bar blocking access to my heart. With love and light, it too fell away. Recently heavy layers of mud were hauled away. These days a light clay coating still keeps my heart from the sun but it is light enough that the flowers are starting to break through. I look forward to the garden.”
